This section of the Cyber Sandbox Creator (CSC) Wiki describes the installation and usage of CSC. If you are a new user, this is the right place to start.

Before we dive into any details about CSC, there is some basic terminology you should understand:
- CSC consists of two scripts, the _Sandbox Creator_ and the _Sandbox Manager_. Both are part of the two-step process of creating an instance of the virtual lab (_sandbox instance_). The process is depicted in the image below.
- The two steps are often carried out by different users.
- A _sandbox definition_ is a group of files that define the content of a virtual environment (lab). These files are designed to be easily editable to allow customization of the environments.
- _Sandbox Creator_ is used in the first step where the _sandbox definition_ is transformed into an _intermediate definition_.
- An _intermediate definition_ is a group of files that can be directly used to create a virtual environment (lab) instance. These files are not meant to be edited. They can be distributed to create many instances of the virtual environment on different computers.
- _Sandbox Manager_ is used to build one instance of virtual environment (_sandbox instance_) from an _intermediate definition_.

Pages in this section are organized with respect to the two types of users mentioned above:
